The mission of Viet Nam National Commission for UNESCO and Secretary General of the Global Geoparks Network in supporting the disaster-stricken people12/08/2018

During the visit to the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark in July, 2018, Prof. Guy Martini, Secretary General of the Global Geoparks Network (GGN); Ambassador Vu Binh – Deputy Secretary General of Viet Nam National Commission for UNESCO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Lam Tien Manh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism visited and delivered donations to local people in Can Ty Commune, Quan Ba district, which suffered severe damage from the disaster in June 2018.

With the spirit of solidarity to help the disaster victims overcome the consequences, the delegation has raised a fund among Viet Nam National Commission’s officials to support money, necessities and labor tools for disaster-stricken people to settle down.
