Nằm ở khu
vực miền núi phía Bắc của tỉnh Tuyên Quang, xã Mậu Duệ được thiên nhiên ưu ái
ban tặng cảnh quan hùng vĩ với núi non trùng điệp và khí hậu trong lành. Sau
sáp nhập, xã đã có sự thay đổi về ranh giới, mở rộng diện tích và mang đến nhiều
lợi thế về địa lý, khai khoáng tạo nền tảng cho các hoạt động kinh tế như nông
nghiệp, lâm nghiệp, khai thác khoáng sản và du lịch sinh thái. Vị trí địa lý của
xã Mậu Duệ cũng giúp kết nối dễ dàng với các khu vực lân cận, tạo điều kiện cho
sự phát triển bền vững.
Trong Xã Mậu Duệ, khu vực Ngam La với
diện tích gần 60 km2, dân số gần 4.000 người, trong đó 75% là người Dao từ bao
đời nay đã bảo tồn, gìn giữ và khai thác một giống chè rừng gọi là chè Shan tuyết.
Sự kết hợp hài hòa, tinh tế giữa các điều kiện đặc biệt về khí hậu, thời tiết,
địa hình, chất đất và giống chè, cộng thêm với phương pháp chăm sóc, thu hái,
chế biến thủ công truyền thống độc đáo đã tạo ra một sản phẩm chè có hương vị
riêng, nổi tiếng trong và ngoài nước.
Chè Shan tuyết Ngam La đã đạt tiêu chuẩn OCOP, góp phần tạo
nên sự đa dạng và nâng tầm giá trị của Văn hóa Trà Việt. Nhiều hộ dân sản xuất
chè thủ công đã trở thành đối tác chính
thức của CVĐC.
Located in the northern mountainous region of Tuyen Quang
Province, Mau Due Commune is blessed with magnificent landscapes, rugged
mountain ranges, and a fresh, temperate climate. Following administrative
reorganization, the commune has expanded in area and gained new advantages in
geography and mineral resources, providing a foundation for the development of
agriculture, forestry, mineral extraction, and ecotourism. Its strategic
location also facilitates connections with neighboring areas, creating
favorable conditions for sustainable development.
Within Mau Due Commune, the Ngam La area covers nearly 60
km² and is home to almost 4,000 residents, approximately 75% of whom are Dzao
people. For generations, they have preserved, cultivated, and harvested a
native tea variety known as Shan Tuyet tea. The harmonious combination of
unique climatic conditions, topography, soil characteristics, and tea
varieties, together with traditional methods of cultivation, harvesting, and
hand-processing, has created a distinctive tea product renowned both nationally
and internationally.
Ngam
La Shan Tuyet Tea has achieved OCOP certification, contributing to the
diversity and enhancement of Vietnam’s tea culture. Many households engaged in
traditional tea production have also become Official Geopark Partners.
